At Young Snake Friends Society, we are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating wild animals, reptiles and snakes. Our mission is to promote coexistence between humans and snakes through education and awareness.

Nilay Dongardive, a member of the Young Snake Friend Society, received a call from Karan Karangle of Kanchan Vihar on Sunday night, October 8, 2023, that a snake had left his house. Nilay immediately reached his house, So Nilay Niyam reached his description, after seeing the snake, he realized that this was a rare total albino full-color snake. The snake venom transformed it into a snake and its founder, When I gave it to the organization president 'Avi Prarao Yate', Veere said that since it is rare, he should register it with the forest department office and get rid of it. He said that Nilaya records it because of the water at night.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, around 8 pm, Nilay Dongardive, a member of the Young Snake Friend Society, received a call from Rajendra Phalke from Dhanashree Vihar that two snakes had escaped, so he immediately reached there. When they saw it and realized it was a rare python baby, they safely caught it and soon found eight python babies there, one after the other. They examined it and found it to be in good health. He informed the founder Avi Prakashrao Yate about this. He said that this snake is rare and falls under Schedule I, so he asked him to register it with the forest department and release it. But since it was night, Nilay went to the Wadali Vartul Forest Office in the morning.

स्थानिक नावे: - चंद्र कांडर (दक्षिण कोकण), काणेर (गोवा), चूड ( पालघर), नरकाकल्ले (गडचिरोली), दांड्या काडीचा ( चंद्रपूर)
सरासरी लांबी :- १०० सें. मी. (३ फूट ३ इंच)
अधिकचा लांबी:- १७५ सें. मी. (५ फूट ९ इंचर)
रंग व आकार :- काळा निळा किंवा गडद तपकिरी. त्यावर आडव्या पांढऱ्या पट्ट्याच्या जोड्या. पट्ट्या डोक्याकडे फिकट तर शेपटी कडे गडद. डोक्यावरील भाग पूर्ण काळा. ओठ आणि पोटाकडील भाग पांढरा. मऊ चमकते खवले. पाठीवरचे मधल्या रांगेतील खवले षटकोनी आणि मोठे. दंडगोलाकार शरीर. आखूड शेपूट.
प्रजनन:- मार्च - मे दरम्यान मादी ८ व १२ अंडी घालते . साठ दिवसांच्या कालावधीनंतर पिले बाहेर येतात. पिलांची लांबी साधारण २५ - २८ सें. मी. असते. हा साप भारतात सर्वत्र आढळतो, निशाचर, लाजाळू हा साप इतर सापांना खातो व्कचित प्रसंगी छोट्या मण्यारी तर कधी उंदीर, बेडूक किंवा पाली खातो
